4,342 country-half-year observations of the average electricity price paid by household consumers in Eurostat's consumption band DC (2,500 to 4,999 kWh a year, the reference band for EU price comparisons), in euro per kilowatt-hour at three tax levels (excluding taxes and levies, excluding VAT and other recoverable taxes and levies, and all taxes and levies included), for 43 geographies (EU and euro-area aggregates, every EU member state, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the UK and candidate and neighbouring countries), 2007 to 2025, from the Eurostat dissemination API as of 2026-09-06. Long format with the tax level code and label on every row, the original half-year (e.g. 2025-S1) in period and the first day of the half-year in date.

Methodology

JSON-stat 2.0 dataset decoded into long format (geo, tax, period, value) for unit=KWH, siec=E7000, nrg_cons=KWH2500-4999, currency=EUR; null cells dropped; half-years dated to 1 January and 1 July.

Update Schedule

Static snapshot. Published twice a year, about five months after each half-year; refresh weekly.
