4,335 state-quarter observations of real gross domestic product (all industry total, millions of chained 2017 dollars, seasonally adjusted annual rate) for all 50 states and the District of Columbia (51 series) from the BEA's quarterly GDP by state programme via FRED, 2005-01-01 to 2026-01-01 as of 2026-09-06. Long format with state code and name on every row; quarters are dated to their first day.

Methodology

One fredgraph.csv fetch per state series (<STATE>RQGSP); missing observations dropped; state code and name derived from the series id; values in millions of chained 2017 dollars rounded to six decimals.

Update Schedule

Static snapshot. BEA releases quarterly state GDP about three months after quarter end, with annual revisions in September; refresh weekly.
